Unreal SteamVR Plugin

Enable the SteamVR Plugin

StarVR One features an industry-leading field of view covering 210° horizontally and 130° vertically – nearly 100% coverage of natural human vision. Developing content for StarVR One requires a few adjustments to deliver the best immersive experience to your users. This guide provides some workflow suggestions and tips to help you achieve that with your UE4 projects.

1. The StarVR One headset is compatible with SteamVR™ base stations and controllers. After finishing the environment setup, the SteamVR panel will display all connected devices in blue and a StarVR HMD icon in green, which means that everything is ready.

2. Open your UE4 project and find the Plugins editing interface from the Edit menu, “Built-in” “Virtual Reality”“SteamVR”. Make sure the “Enabled” box is checked to activate the SteamVR Plugin by default.

NOTE

All screenshots were taken with Unreal 4.22. The user interface may look different in other versions.
