Recommended HDRP Settings


1. Use the Forward Rendering Path under Project Settings → Graphics → Tier Settings

 

2. Use Single Pass Instanced Stereo Rendering Mode

• This needs to be set under both Player → XR Settings and Quality → HDRP

 

• Use MSAA x4 for Anti Aliasing (or TAA with a sharpen filter to counterbalance blurriness)

 

• Use Linear Color Space

 

3. Make sure to disable any unused features in the HDRenderPipelineAsset

• It's recommended to disable Volumetrics and Area Light Support

 

Area Light Support can be disabled via the shader configuration files
